Brief: this feature allows you to adjust the module settings of its sections, and managing its blocks.
To login to questions module settings:
1- Login to control panel.
2- From the side list, select “Settings”, then “plugins Settings” as shown in the below picture:
3- Another list will show up, select “Questions Settings” as the below picture:
The page of general settings will show up:
Firstly: Module Settings:
-Allow multiple answers: activate this option to add several answers for the same question.
-Allow several users in dialogs: activate this option, so the conversation between the member and all admins. If you don’t activate this option, the conversation will be between the member and only the first admin that answers the questions.
-Allow rating answers: it allows the member to rate the answers by pressing whether positive or negative icon.
-Number of answers loaded per time: set the number of uploaded answers every time the member press (more).
-Answers viewing sorting order: answers are ordered depending on the selected option from the below box.
Secondly: Points Settings:
-Add points when adding new answer: activate this option, so points are added to the member’s credit when he adds an answer.
-Points to add when answer is rated positively: set the number of added points to the member’s credit if his answer is rated positively.
-Points to add when answer is chosen as the best answer: set the number of added points to the member’s credit when his answer is chosen as the best answer from the asker side .
Thirdly: Blocks Settings:
-Quick adding block sections: set the number of sections to be added to this block. This block allows the member to add a question to the required section with single block.
-Number of contents in block: set the number of contents included in each block of the section.
-Sections to display in َQuestions Sections block: enter the section that are displayed in the (Questions Sections) block.
-Display sections only: Press (yes) if you want to display sections without content.
-Number of sections to display per row on homepage: set the number of section displayed in each row on the homepage.
-Number of users in users to follow block: this block can be activated from the default layout, through which you can manage the number of followed members.
-Show already followed users in users to follow block: activate this option to show the members that are previously followed, so you can know the most active members. As this block aims at both showing the most active members, and following new ones.
Fourthly: General Settings:
-Number of contents per page: set the number of contents to be displayed on every section page.
For example, if you have 100 contents for every section, and you want to show 20 ones in every page, so that you will have 50 pages in this section. A numbered list of pages will be shown as numbered pages beneath the contents.
-Number of contents per line: set the number of displayed contents in each row on every section page.
-Contents sorting order in modules: set the order you want to display contents by selecting one of the methods existed in the dropdown list.
-Sections sorting order in modules: set the order you want to display sections by selecting one of the methods existed in the dropdown list.
-Module order in Modules Menu: set the module order on the website modules list.
-Maximum number of uploaded images per time: Dimofinf CMS allows you to upload any required number of pictures per every published content. Noting that if you add several pictures, they will be displayed in a slider.
-Maximum image size to upload: set the maximum size of uploaded image during the content creation.
-Maximum Image Thumb Width & Height: (Thumbnail images) if little size of the original pictures that you upload to the website, those little images are displayed on the website pages except for the content page for the website speed. You may set the maximum width and height of the thumbnail images noting that the ideal size is 75.
-Maximum Image Dimensions: the uploaded picture will be automatically set as the entered dimensions. It is preferably to set the dimensions of the uploaded images in case you have a large number of images and limited space. Any uploaded image will be automatically resized to to the set dimensions.
-Content characters cutoff : set the maximum number of characters to write a brief about the content, and this brief is shown beneath the title.
-Number of sections to display per page in modules: set the number of sections to be displayed on every page. For example, if you have 10 sections, and you select 5 sections, so that, you have 2 pages of sections. A numbered list of pages will be shown as numbered pages beneath the sections.
-Number of sections per line: set the number of sections to be displayed on every page of the internal ones.
-Sections to show on side menu: set the sections that will be displayed in the side list. The questions section will not be shown in the side list if you don’t select sections.
-Display Module Statistics: the (Statistics Block) is a main one that is not belonged to a certain module and can be added to any page.
This block shows the number of contents of every module and the date of the recent added content.
-Activate Ticker: it allows the recent questions be displayed automatically.
-Allowed Ticker Areas: set the allowed locations to show the ticker; whether to be shown only on the internal pages, homepage, or all the pages.
-Meta Keywords: enter meta keywords that fit the download module, to be included in every content published on the website pages.
Use this feature if you want to add meta keywords to all the module contents that has no previous meta keywords before being published.
-Questions Module Displaying Method: to display the blocks of the module, press the icon (List) in the header, activate default layout, then press (Add Block), use (Filtration or searching feature to display files blocks only), then drag the block to set it desired location.

Note: you may skip the step of blocks settings that you managed in the module settings, by using the default layout, you can manage every block during adding it to the homepage (the settings that are tackled will not change and they are applied to the blocks except for the block that you edit using the default layout). For example, if the block (latest questions) is added to all the website pages, and you only edit the block during creating it on the homepage using the default layout, the blocks setting of the questions module will only be applied to the (latest questions) block that is only existed on the internal pages.
