1- Login to the control panel.
2- From the side list, choose (settings)> then (plugin settings):
3- A list appears, choose (downloads settings) as the picture below:
The below picture of general settings will show up:
Sections Links To Display On Left Menu: sections that you want to display on the left list.
Sections Contents To Include In The 'New downloads' Block: sections that you want to display in the new downloads block.
Total Number Of Contents To Display In The 'New downloads' Block: total number of contents displayed in new downloads block.
Maximum Section download Width: maximum width of the section picture that is automatically resized as per the set one.
Maximum Section download Height: set the maximum height of the section picture that is automatically resized as per the set one.
Display Sections Only: this feature is related to sections that will be displayed on the homepage. Press (yes) if you want to display sections named on the homepage, or (no) if you want to display section contents as per its setting.
Number of Sections To Display In Each Row: number of sections displayed in every row on the homepage.
Number of Contents To Display In Each Section: number of content displayed in each section on the home page.
Max Number Of Contents To Display From each Section: the total number of allowed displayed contents on the mainpage.
Total Number Of Contents To Display In Regular contents: number of pictures displayed in the contents block on the homepage.
Total Number Of Contents To Display In Each Row: is related to showing sections on the homepage. It is the number of contents that are displayed in the section included in every row on the homepage.
Total Number Of Contents To Display In Each Row: is related to showing sections. It is the number of contents displayed in every section in the row.
Total Number Of Sticky Contents To Display: number of displayed pictures in the pinned pictures slider.
Display Module Statistics: activate or deactivate displaying pictures statistics on the homepage.
Number Of Sections To Display In Each Row: number of sections for every row.
Number Of Sections To Display On Each Page: total number of displayed sections in every page.
Number Of Contents To Display On Each Page: number of pictures displayed per page.
Maximum Image Dimensions: the maximum allowed pictures dimensions, larger ones are automatically resized.
Maximum Image Thumb Width: the maximum allowed thumbs width, wider ones are automatically resized.
Maximum Image Thumb Height: the maximum allowed thumbs height, higher ones are automatically resized.
Maximum Image Display Width: the maximum image width, and wider ones are automatically resized.
Sections Sorting Order: it is divided into 7 options that are explained hereunder.
-Order by ID- Ascending: ordering the sections upward, for example, the section numbered (ID1) is shown before the section numbered (ID2).
-Order by ID- Descending: ordering the sections top-down, for example, the section numbered (ID2) is shown before the section numbered (ID1).
-Order Alphabetically- Ascending: ordering the sections upward considering the alphabetical order.
-Order Alphabetically- Descending: ordering the sections top-down considering the alphabetical order.
-Order by number of contents- Ascending: ordering the sections upward based on the number of contents, for example, if section (1) contains 2000 downloads, and section (2) contains 1200 downloads, so section (2) is displayed before section (1).
-Order by number of contents- Descending: ordering the sections top-down based on the number of contents, for example, if section (1) contains 2000 downloads, and section (2) contains 1200 downloads, so section (1) is displayed before section (2).
Manual Ordering: it cancels the previous options as it depends on entering the section order when it is added as shown in the below picture:
Contents Sorting Order: it is divided into 8 options that are explained hereunder.
-Order by ID- Ascending: ordering the contents upward typically as previous examples mentioned in the ordering sections part.
-Order by ID- Descending: ordering the contents top-down typically as previous examples mentioned in the ordering sections part.
-Order by adding date- Ascending: ordering the contents upward depending on the adding date.
-Order by adding date- Descending: ordering the contents top-down depending on the adding date.
-Order Alphabetically- Ascending: ordering the contents upward considering the alphabetical order of titles.
-Order Alphabetically- Descending: ordering the contents top-down considering the alphabetical order of titles.
-Order by Views- Ascending: ordering the contents upward based on the number of views, for example, if file (1) is viewed by 100 visitors, and file (2) is viewed by 80 visitors, so file(2) is displayed before file(1).
-Order by Views- Descending: ordering the contents top-down based on the number of views, for example, if file (1) is viewed by 100 visitors, and file (2) is viewed by 80 visitors, so file(1) is displayed before file(2).
Apply Previous Sorting Order To Homepage As Well: press (yes) to activate the previous order on the homepage.
Activate Ticker: press (yes) to display the ticker of newest files on the website.
Allowed Ticker Areas: choose from 4 options where you want the ticker to be displayed.
-All pages: it will be displayed on all the website pages.
-Same current module: this option allowed the ticker to be displayed on the downloads module pages only.
-Other modules: the ticker is displayed on all other modules pages except the downloads module.
-Home page only: it will be displayed on the website homepage only.
Meta Keywords: enter key words of the module pages (if there are no sections meta keywords). It is used by SEO to index the page more releventely.
Meta Description: enter a description of the module pages that is shown if you don’t enter a brief of every section.
Maximum allowed Size for uploaded files: allowed maximum number of uploaded pictures per time.
Max editing content duration: Max time in seconds for editing content before removing the editing log.
Module Short URL: the abbreviated module name that is displayed in the URL; it should be unique and free of numbers.
Activate 'Broken Link' Reports: allow visitors to send reports in case of any broken link.
Broken Link Notification: allow the admin to receive notifications after reporting broken links.
Broken link Notification Email: allow the admin to receive an email after reporting broken links.
